Delete your account

You can delete your Open Slot account and personal data at any time. This page applies to all our apps: OPEN SLOT (for customers), Open Slot for Hosts (for studio and talent hosts and their staff) and Open notes (the notes app) and Sorted (the dating app), published by A Good Life.

Updated November 1, 2026

Delete from inside the app

OPEN SLOT (customers)

  1. Open Profile, then Manage profile.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  3. Tap Yes, delete my account to confirm.

Open Slot for Hosts (studio and talent hosts)

  1. Open Profile, then Account.
  2. Scroll to Delete account and tap it.
  3. Tap Yes, delete my account to confirm. Every listing you own is unpublished straight away.

Open notes

  1. Open Settings, tap your name, then scroll to Delete account.
  2. Tap it, choose whether to erase the notes stored on your phone too, and tap Delete my account.

Open Send

  1. Open Settings, go to Your data and tap Erase my data, then confirm. You can tap Download my data first to keep a copy. If you cannot use the app, email hello@agoodlife.in with the subject Delete my Open Send data and the phone number you sign in with.
  2. We confirm by message and erase your account, contacts, templates, campaigns and the WhatsApp connection within 30 days.

Deleting your data does not cancel a paid plan. Cancel it yourself: on the web on the plan page in Open Send, or, if you bought in the iPhone app, in your Apple ID settings (Settings, your name, Subscriptions). You can also remove Open Send's access to your WhatsApp Business account in your Meta Business settings. If you connected Instagram, "Erase my data" deletes the Instagram conversations, automations and access token too; or you can disconnect it in Settings, Instagram, Disconnect, or remove Open Send in Instagram's own settings (Apps and websites), and ask Instagram to send us a data deletion request, which erases the Instagram data we hold for that account. Payment, invoice and tax records are kept for the period Indian law requires.

Sorted

  1. Open Me, then Settings.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. You are logged out straight away and your profile stops being shown to other people.

Deleting a Sorted account does not cancel Sorted Plus. Cancel it yourself: on iPhone in your Apple ID settings (Settings, your name, Subscriptions); on Android in Google Play (Play Store, your profile picture, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions).

Deleting an Open notes account does not cancel an Open notes Cloud subscription. Cancel it yourself: on iPhone in your Apple ID settings (Settings, your name, Subscriptions); on Android in Google Play (Play Store, your profile picture, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions).

Delete without the app

If you can no longer open the app, email hello@openslot.cc with the subject Delete my account, and tell us the phone number the account was registered with. We will confirm that the request comes from you before we act on it. We aim to complete it within 7 days and always within 30 days.

What happens next

  1. You are logged out immediately and your request is recorded.
  2. Seven days later your personal data is erased. If you change your mind in that window, email hello@openslot.cc and we will stop the request.
  3. The same phone number can later be used to create a brand-new account. It will not have anything from the old one.

We cannot complete a deletion while you still have an upcoming booking (as a customer or as a host), or, for hosts, a payout in progress. The request stays open and is completed automatically once those are finished.

What we erase

  • Your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, profile photo and the other details on your profile.
  • Your saved studios, notifications, browsing history in the app and the push-notification tokens of your devices.
  • Photos you sent in chats and support conversations.
  • For Open notes Cloud: the copy of your notes kept on our servers.
  • For Sorted: your profile, photos, avatar, picks, Date Cards, matches, chats, location, blocks you made and any face-scan frames (erased seven days after you delete).
  • For hosts: the KYC documents you uploaded and your bank details. Your listings are unpublished and can no longer take bookings.

What we keep, and why

  • Booking, payment, refund, invoice and tax records. Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep them for a fixed period. After erasure they no longer show your name.
  • For hosts: the PAN, GSTIN, registered legal name and business address on file, because they are needed for GST, TCS and TDS reporting.
  • Ratings, reviews and chat messages you already sent stay, so other people’s conversations and a studio’s rating history are not broken, but they are no longer linked to you and appear as “Deleted user”.
  • For Sorted: a record of reports and suspensions for safety, a suspended phone number so it cannot sign up again, and purchase records (hearts, coins and Plus) for as long as the law requires. Messages you sent may remain visible to the other person only until the account is erased. Unused hearts, coins and Plus time are forfeited.
  • Any unused credits are forfeited.

Questions about how we handle your data are covered in our Privacy Policy, or write to hello@openslot.cc.
